🚨 Check Your Dubai Fines

Four different bodies issue fines in Dubai — and they each live on a different portal. Here's exactly where to check and pay each one.

💡 Pay early, pay less.

Dubai runs frequent early-payment discount campaigns — often up to 50% off when you settle within a set window after the offence. The exact discount shows at the payment screen. Don't sit on a fine.

Traffic fines (speeding, signals, etc.)

👑 Dubai Police

All moving-violation fines — speeding, red lights, lane discipline. Search by plate number or traffic file number, then pay by card. The Dubai Police app (sign in with UAE Pass) does the same on mobile.

Black points and vehicle impound can apply to serious violations — not just a cash fine.
Vehicle & licensing

🚗 RTA

Registration, licensing and some vehicle-related fines. Use "Check Your Fines" on rta.ae with your Traffic File Number, or the RTA Dubai app. You can also SMS your plate details to 9090.

Salik (road tolls)

🛣 Salik

Toll crossings auto-deduct from your Salik account. If your balance runs out when you pass a gate, you're fined per crossing. Check balance, recharge and see violations in the Salik app or on salik.gov.ae.

Insufficient-balance fine: AED 50 per crossing. Keep auto-recharge on.
Parking & public transport (Nol)

🚌 RTA — Parking & Nol

Unpaid street parking and public-transport (metro, tram, bus) violations are handled by RTA. Check via the RTA app or website; Nol violations can be checked by your card's Tag ID in the Nol Pay app.

Travelling without a valid card / fare: roughly AED 200–500.
